Deuteronomy 6:5-7 is a directive to parents about being the spiritual leaders of their homes. Our New Vision Preschool & Kindergarten Ministries want to help you succeed! We are committed to partnering with you, the parents, to sow seeds of faith and lay a strong biblical foundation in your child’s life.
We want your child to love coming to church! New Vision Preschool Ministry provides a safe, secure, loving environment where preschoolers learn about God and His love at their level of understanding. We aren’t babysitting! Preschoolers learn by “doing” so our curriculum allows them to engage in developmentally appropriate hands-on learning activities that correlate with a Bible story. When you see them interacting in their learning centers, they aren’t just “playing”, they are learning to make the connection between the Bible and everyday life. We have faithful leaders who are passionate about teaching and modeling the love of God to your child.
This a transitional ministry designed to help our kindergartners bridge the gap between Preschool and Children’s Ministry. The curriculum provides developmentally appropriate learning experiences to help them KNOW who God is and provides an age appropriate learning environment. The summer after their Kindergarten year, the children will participate in large group worship with the Children’s Ministry.
First time guests will be greeted and checked in at the Welcome Tesk, HUB or any kiosk. On return visits, you can check your child in at any kiosk. Be sure to check them in for every hour they will stay. You will receive a printed tag that includes their name, room number, a unique security number. You will also receive a matching security tag to take with you. You will need the security tag to pick up your child, and the security number will be used to notify you during the worship service if you are needed.
Please label everything that your child needs (diaper bag, bottles, coat, etc.). This helps ensure that you get home with everything you brought.
You will pick up your child directly from their room. The safety and welfare of our children is vital to us; you will be required to show the number on your security tag when you pick them up. If your security tag gets lost, your child’s teacher will escort you and your child to the preschool desk for verification by a Preschool Staff member. We hope you understand this extra step is to keep your child safe!
All preschool parents are asked to serve on a parent rotation one Sunday a month. This helps our weekly leaders and it also helps you gain a better understanding of how and what your child is learning.
